In June we had a 2 hour guest visit from Alistair Pinkerton, Lib Dem for Surrey Heath.

He really understood the challenges for those in hardship in our community and the struggle for affordable and accessible housing.

A wonderful moment of serendipity. One of our lovely neighbours decided to clear out their garage on the day we were on site, advertising a lovely big fridge freezer as free to collect!

With help from local businesses, Simply Carpets and Park Street Interiors we were able to scurry the fridge freezer out of the elements and into our new kitchen ready to begin the food service very soon.
